School Speaker Visits

Fun, hands-on sessions with a learning plan matched to each year group, from Year 2 to Year 12.

School Habitat Restoration

Native habitat restoration at your school. Students can get involved, or our crew does the work.

Hollow Installs and Tree Boring

Hollows for native birds, parrots and possums, plus specialist tree boring where suitable.

Native Bee Hotels

Upright bee hotels for WA's native solitary bees. Good for pollination and safe to observe.

Native Planting and Water

Endemic food plants and aerial water sources that give wildlife a reason to stay.

Government and Private Projects

Hollow boring, fauna relocation, habitat creation and research for councils and landowners.

School Speaker Visits and Learning Plans.

For schools, Years 2 to 12

Our guest speaker visits bring native habitat to life with a fun, hands-on approach. Each session follows a learning plan adjusted for the year group, so a Year 2 class and a Year 11 class each get something that fits.

There's no extra work for teachers. We bring the learning plan, run the session and handle the rest. Ask us for the school learning plan structure when you enquire.

School Native Habitat Restoration.

For schools wanting more native habitat on their grounds

We restore native bush areas at your school and involve students as much or as little as suits you. Hands-on planting days give students real ownership of the space. If you'd rather not run it, our crew does the work.

We use endemic species suited to your site, chosen for what local wildlife eats and shelters in.

Hollow Installs and Tree Boring.

For schools, local shires, government and private landowners

We build and install hollows, and use specialised tree boring techniques where suitable, to encourage specific species to nest and take cover where that was never possible before. Natural hollows take so long to weather and form that, in many places, there's nowhere left for wildlife to nest.

We build native bird and parrot hollows and possum hollows. Every hollow is sited at a height and position that protects against the elements and helps control temperature.

We also build and install nesting hollows for black cockatoos. Black cockatoo hollows take 100 to 300 years to form naturally, and with so much tree loss there isn't enough time left to sustain the species.

We only install where there is suitable food and water nearby, and we use rope access or an elevated work platform for hard-to-reach trees.

Native Bee Hotels.

For schools and gardens

Western Australia is home to approximately 800 native bee species, many of which are solitary, non-aggressive and excellent pollinators. Our upright bee hotels give them somewhere to nest, and they're far safer to observe than a honey bee hive.

Native bees need food and water like any other animal, so we pair hotels with the right planting. Our bee hotels double as a water source, with a timber water bowl attached to the roof. They also make a great teaching tool: students can watch native bees up close and learn how they differ from the introduced honey bee that competes with them.

Native Planting and Aerial Water.

For schools, gardens and public spaces

We design and plant native gardens that work as food for everyone: birds, bees and insects. Shrubs like grevilleas are a great choice for small bird habitat.

Aerial water bowls add a safe place to drink, and many clients notice more birds within a growing season. Most small birds build their own nests and won't use a box, so planting is often the best thing you can do for them.

Habitat logs. Natural logs are great habitat for smaller lizards and a food source that draws in birds. They give marsupials and reptiles structure and protection, and they're good for the ground they're placed on. It's not just a log.

Government and Private Habitat Projects.

For councils, developers and landowners

We run hands-on habitat creation and research for government and private clients, from hollow inspections and installs to native garden design. Our crew uses rope access and an elevated work platform (EWP) to inspect and install in hard-to-reach trees.

Before bush clearing, we also offer fauna trapping, relocation and counting. [Confirm licences or permits we can mention here.] Every job runs under our safety management plans and procedures.
